Description

Canoe and kayak enthusiasts can find several safe put-in and take-out areas at Warren County Parks for trips lasting a few hours up to most of the day. Follow the website link to visit the WCPD website and discover all the access points and routers along the waterways in Warren County, or pick up one of the Blueways maps at our Convention & Visitors Bureau Information Center.

Boating and fishing enthusiasts can also find great resources on the KY Department of Fish & Wildlife website at https://fw.ky.gov. There are a couple of private outfitters in the area if you did not travel with gear, and a KY fishing license can be acquired at Wal-Mart, Cabela’s, and other outdoor retailers in the Bowling Green area.

The Southeastern Kentucky Rivers Blueway Project promotes river stewardship and the utilization of Leave No Trace ethics. The website contains a variety of information and resources for you to begin your adventures on the waterways in Warren and adjacent counties.
