With the grand opening in 2025, Paducah Sports Park will provide Kentucky with a state-of-the-art facility for community recreation and tournament play on their baseball/softball diamonds and multi-purpose long fields. This venue will be a place of pride and gathering for the community, while also welcoming in visitors from all over to experience the great city of Paducah and the history of these parks.
Paducah Sports Park is poised to breathe new life into the storied grounds once home to the iconic Bluegrass Downs and Stuart Nelson Park. Envisioned on the expansive site, the Paducah Sports Park is set to feature an impressive array of facilities designed to host a wide range of sports and events.
The complex is expected to feature five meticulously crafted high school baseball diamonds and 20 versatile youth/fastpitch diamonds, catering to players and teams of all ages and skill levels. These fields will be complemented by ten rectangular multi-sport fields, accommodating soccer, lacrosse, and other field sports, ensuring that the park serves as a diverse sporting destination.
